This policy explains what thegreenforkdaily.com collects, why, and who else is involved. It describes what the website actually does today.

What we collect

  • When you place or discuss an order: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and what you ordered.
  • When you use the map at checkout: the delivery location you select. You choose the point on the map; the site does not track you.
  • When you message us: through the contact form or on WhatsApp — whatever you write to us, and the contact details you send it from.
  • When you sign up to our newsletter: your email address.
  • When you simply browse: standard technical information such as your browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and to see which pages are useful.

Why we use it

To prepare and deliver your order, to contact you about that order, to answer your questions, to keep our own business records, and to keep the website secure and working. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

Cookies

The site sets cookies so that your shopping cart remembers what you put in it, so that you stay logged in if you have an account, and so that basic visit statistics can be counted. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the cart will stop remembering your items if you do.

Who else is involved

Running the site means a small number of other services see some of this data:

  • Our hosting provider stores the website and its database.
  • Google Maps displays the delivery location picker at checkout.
  • Mailchimp holds newsletter subscriptions — only if you sign up.
  • Paystack is the payment provider the site is built for. It is not currently processing payments here, so no card details are being handled by this website. Card details would in any case go to Paystack directly and never be stored by us.
  • Site statistics and security tools record aggregate visit data and block malicious traffic.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for our business and accounting records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept while we are dealing with your enquiry.

Your choices

  • Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email.

Contact us and we will deal with it.
